Stephanie Norlander made her international debut as a teenager in 2012 in Mexico. Since then, she has become one of the younger members on the National Team’s touring roster.
She scored her first international goal at 2013 Pan American Cup where Canada won the bronze medal. Earlier in the year she had suited up for Canada at the FIH Junior World Cup.
In 2015, her and her teammates earned a bronze medal at the Pan Am Games in Toronto, becoming the first Canadian women’s team since 1999 to win a medal at the event. Norlander had three goals at the event.
In her first year at the University of Iowa, Norlander was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year and to the NFHCA West Region All-America second team after scoring nine goals, four of them game-winning. As a sophomore she was named second team NFHCA All-American and first team All-Big Ten.
