A high-energy, powerful forward, Gabriel Ho-Garcia made his debut in 2011 at the Champions Challenge. He has since played for both the junior and senior national teams.
In 2012 he helped Canada win silver at the junior Pan American Championship and then was part of the squad that competed at the 2013 FIH Junior World Cup. He made his international multi-sport competition debut at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Also in 2014, he was named the best junior player of the tournament after Canada’s second place finish at the 2014 Champions Challenge 1 in Malaysia.
Ho-Garcia also competed in the FIH World League in 2015 and 2015 Pan Am Games through which the Canadians were able to earn 2016 Olympic qualification, and competed in his first Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil in 2016.
