Head Coach and Manager Position (Volunteer)
(February 2010 – September 2010)
Field Hockey Canada will accept applications for two positions- Head Coach and Manager, Women’s Indoor Hockey Program. These positions will be volunteer positions which will start in February 2010 and conclude in September 2010.
*********************************** Head Coach: General Description Provide the national indoor team a high performance plan and environment required for athletes and support staff to develop and succeed at the highest level internationally. This position is directly accountable to the National Women’s Head Coach. Key Areas of Responsibility:
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have 3 – 5 years experience and a proven record of success in senior elite indoor hockey programming. Proof of Level 3 or 4 National Coaching Certification, e.g. Senior International Coach or equivalency is required. ********************************** Team Manager: General Description Support the National Coach and Women’s Team to develop and succeed at the highest level internationally. This position is directly accountable to the Indoor Women’s Head Coach. Key Areas of Responsibility:

The successful candidate will have 3 – 5 years management and fund raising/sponsorship experience, and a proven record of success in managing senior elite indoor hockey teams.
