As the governing body and national sport organization (NSO) for field
hockey in Canada, as designated by Sport Canada, we are charged with
promoting and increasing participation in field hockey, including
assisting our best and brightest athletes to excel and represent Canada
on the international stage. Your membership dollars play a vital role
in achieving these goals.
We share responsibility for developing and delivering programs with our
provincial field hockey associations as key partners in the
administration of field hockey. Often they are the first point of
contact with our members and membership in a provincial association
gives you automatic membership with FHC.
A membership with FHC is included in the registration cost of all
affiliated clubs and Provincial Associations. If you are thinking
about getting involved in hockey and playing in a local league, trying
out for a provincial team, coaching or perhaps even some day playing
for Canada at the Olympics or you just want to introduce your children
to a healthy life-long sport use our club finder to locate the Field Hockey Canada member club nearest you.
If you are not a member of an affiliated club or Provincial Association
but still want to become a member of the national field hockey family
you can purchase an Associate Membership directly from FHC. Please click the link to purchase.
