Peter Milkovich

Field Hockey Background

Peter grew up playing hockey at the West Vancouver Field Hockey Club – a club that his father helped start in 1972.

Sport Background

He represented Canada 268 times from 1988 to 2000 and was the captain of Team Canada in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. A two time Olympian, in 1999 Milkovich was voted to the FIH World XI. Most recently, Milkovich served as a tactical consultant for Canada’s Olympic Team in Beijing 2008 and volunteered for eight years in the NCAA as a coach of the University of California at Berkeley Women’s Varsity Field Hockey Team.


Milkovich has been coaching sports for over 25 years from the club level to the National Team level.
