Bob earned his Kinesiology and Physiotherapy degrees from the University of Alberta. In conjunction with a fellowship in Sport Physiotherapy he later earned a master’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of British Columbia. For the first 8 years of his career he worked in sport medicine full time, first at the Glen Sather Sport Medicine Centre at the U of A, and later at the University of Calgary Sport Medicine Centre.
Bob has served Canadian athletes at a number of major international games including the 1998 winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. Was the Chief therapist for the 2006 Commonwealth Games, Melbourne, and was on the FHC Medical Staff for the 2000 summer Olympics in Sydney. Bob brings a history of working with our National Teams as he has experienced 25 International Tours/Tournaments over the years, even as recently at the Pan American Games in Mexico.
Bob's positive approach to supporting our National Team Athletes and Coaches is very much welcomed.
