Women's Senior Team

The Canadian Women's National Team (WNT) trains in Vancouver, British Columbia. They are currently ranked 20th in the world by the FIH.

The Team Captain is Katie Baker. For each competition, Head Coach Louis Mendonca selects 16 to 18 members of the Squad to represent Team Canada.

    Canada beat Austria 2-1 to take 7th place at the Champions Challenge II in Vienna, Austria. Jess Walkey scored the pair of goals to give Canada the win for their last game.

    Canada was defeated by Russia 2-3 thanks to a late goal. Kate Gillis was honoured for receiving her 50th CAP and the girls move on to play Austria for 7/8th place at the Champions Challenge II in Vienna, austria. May 13, 2011.

    Canada was defeated by Belgium 1-0. Canada now plays Russia on the way to the 5/6th place game. May 12, 2011. Tyla Flexman was honoured with her 50th cap.

    Canada defeats Chile 1-0 in Game 2 of the Champions Challenge II. It was a special moment for Abi Raye and coach Louis Mendonca who shared their 50th international cap with the Women's national team. May 8, 2011
