ROBIN RICHARDSON, Treasurer

Robin Richardson has been playing field hockey since 1963!  He played club hockey for the Chichester, Havant and Hampshire Clubs in England.  After moving to Victoria, BC in 1991 Robin discovered, to his horror, that there were no water based pitches in Canada, and he was forced to play on grass again.

In May 2008, Robin served as the Venue Director and Organising Committee Vice Chair for the Women’s World Hockey Olympic Qualifier Tournament in Victoria.  He is also a member of the Organizing Committee for the Times Colonist Open Golf Tournament (PGA Canadian Tour) in Victoria.  Since 1993, Robin has been employed as the Vice President of Operations for Scott Plastics Ltd.

Hari has worked extensively in the media aspects of hockey.  He has been a media officer at major FIH events and recently has been providing television commentary for the FIH at the World Cup and Champions Trophy.

While competing for Canada, Hari completed an Engineering degree and has made a career by combining his education and his passion for sport.  His company Altius provides the web technology for many sport organizations including Field Hockey Canada and the International Hockey Federation.
