International Federations

	OWN THE PODIUM Own the Podium (OTP): Own the Podium is an innovative and collaborative initiative without precedent in Canadian sport. It was created to bring together the key parties involved in leading and funding excellence in Canadian sport, with specific emphasis on achieving excellence at Summer and Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
	SPORT CANADA Sport Canada: Sport Canada works to help Canadians participate and excel in sport. As part of the Department of Canadian Heritage, Sport Canada strengthens the unique contribution that sport makes to Canadian identity, culture and society. The Government of Canada / Sport Canada provides core funding for FHC to carry out our various programs and services.
	COACHING ASSOCIATION OF CANADA Coaching Association of Canada: The Coaching Association of Canada unites stakeholders and partners in its commitment to raising the skills and stature of coaches, and ultimately expanding their reach and influence. Through its programs, CAC empowers coaches with knowledge and skills, promotes ethics, fosters positive attitudes, builds competence, and increases the credibility and recognition of coaches.
	ATHLETES CAN As a leader in the Canadian sport community, the vision of AthletesCAN is to have a significant and positive impact on the life of every athlete by acting as the collective voice for athletes in Canada. The mission of AthletesCAN is to ensure a fair, responsive and supportive sport system for athletes in Canada. In fulfilling this mission, AthletesCAN is committed to the values of accountability, equity, inclusiveness and mutual respect As a leader in the Canadian sport community, the vision ofAthletesCAN is to have a significant and positive impact on the life ofevery athlete by acting as the collective voice for athletes in Canada.The mission of AthletesCAN is to ensure a fair, responsive andsupportive sport system for athletes in Canada. In fulfilling thismission, AthletesCAN is committed to the values of accountability,equity, inclusiveness and mutual respect. AthletesCAN represents all Canadian national team athletes including Aboriginal, Olympic, Paralympic, Pan/Parapan American, and Commonwealth Games athletes, among others.
	CANADIAN CENTRE FOR ETHICS IN SPORT Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport: The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport serves to elevate the conscience of sport in Canada. The CCES operates at the intersection of individual values, the shared values of society and the values of sport.
	CANADIAN OLYMPIC COMMITTEE Canadian Olympic Committee: The Canadian Olympic Committee is a national, private, not-for-profit organization committed to sport excellence. It is responsible for all aspects of Canada's involvement in the Olympic Movement, including Canada's participation in the Olympic and Pan American Games and a wide variety of programs that promote the Olympic Movement in Canada through cultural and educational means.
	COMMONWEALTH GAMES CANADA Commonwealth Games Canada: Commonwealth Games Canada (CGC) is the international franchise holder for the Commonwealth Games and Commonwealth movement in Canada, and an active, contributing member of the Canadian sport community. Led by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by professional staff, CGC is committed to strengthening sport in Canada and throughout the Commonwealth.

INTERNATIONAL HOCKEY FEDERATION

The work of the International Hockey Federation is accomplished through the efforts of the FIH President and Honorary Secretary General, working together with an Executive Board, eight Committees, three Advisory Panels and the professional staff in its Lausanne headquarters.

The FIH works in co-operation with both the national and continental organisations to ensure consistency and unity in hockey around the world. The FIH not only regulates the sport, but is also responsible for its development and promotion so as to guarantee a secure future for hockey.

PAN AMERICAN HOCKEY FEDERATION

The Pan American Hockey Federation is the field and Indoor hockey federation for the Americas. It consists of 26 Members. It is associated with International Hockey Federation and hosts several continental competitions for national teams.
