The XVI Pan American Games will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico from October 14 to 30.  493 athletes will represent Canada at the Games, including the 32 members of the National Field Hockey Teams.  The 2011 Pan American Games will be the largest multi-sport event of the year, hosting approximately 6,000 athletes from 42 countries, participating in 39 sports.
