I was introduced to field hockey at a later age of thirteen. I was begrudgingly accompanying my Dad to pick up my sister from practice at Hamber. Originally, I was not impressed with having to tag along with Dad; however, this opinion quickly changed when I first saw the sport. I watched as a bunch of girls whacked a ball around the pitch and thought of how much better I could do the same thing. Later on, Dad signed me up to play with the Hawks and the rest is history.
My proudest moment, as I'm sure it is for a lot of us, was putting on our National Teams jersey for the first time.

I have two sisters: one older and one younger. Thus, making me the cream of the oreo cookie. One of my biggest goals in life is to, one day, play for the Men's National Team, as it is for many of us.

Just work hard, but really enjoy yourselves. From my experience the more you enjoy what you're doing the harder you're going to work, and it'll just come easy to you.
