When I was ten years old I was introduced to field hockey in Tsawwassen in a small community-run club called the Tsawwassen Falcons. I must give credit and therefore thanks to my parents for introducing me to this great game and the great people that are involved in it. Thanks also go to Jurgen Lankau and his wife Susan for his dedication to improving us as young players and to provide us with the greatest atmosphere to enjoy this wonderful sport.
Former Teams: Tsawwassen Falcons, UVic Vikes, Rotterdam, Laren
Coaches: Robin D'Abreo, Alex Verga
1999 Pan American Games final whistle when we had known we had qualified for Sydney Olympics. Running to our home crowd in Winnipeg and enjoying the celebration with my parents and friends. It was a dream come true for all of us and there is no better way than with a bunch of world-class teammates and people.
Winning the Pan American Games in 1999 & 2007, and walking into the Olympic stadium in both Sydney & Beijing. Also, winning the Euro Hockey League Championship in 2011 with HGC & being named Player of the Competition
When not playing field hockey, I enjoy fly-fishing, camping, photography, coaching, poker, golf and tennis.

Train hard and always make sure you are having fun. Without those two you I believe I would not be where I am today.
My younger brother Peter. He is and has been willing to take risks when I might chose the easier and safer route.
