I was introduced to the sport by my father, Lee. I picked up a stick for the first time at age 3 while watching my older brother play.

Mother Thelma is a National Endurance Coach for Athletics Canada and a IAAF Committee member. Father Lee is a financial advisor for CIBC Wood Gundy. Older sister Lindsay works for SFA Designs in Santa Barbara, California. Older brother Anthony currently works at a Endocrine Research Society in Vancouver. Younger sister Gillian teaches physical education at South Point Academy in Tsawwassen.
My interests include being outdoors, fishing, my cabin on Bowen Island, the Vancouver Canucks and growing beards.
