Field Hockey Background

My parents both played and introduced me to the sport. I spent much of my youth on or around hockey pitches.

Former Teams: Der Club an der Alster (Hamburg, Germany), UBC Thunderbirds, Tsawwassen Falcons

Coaches: Alan Brahmst, Joachim Mahn, Gene Muller, Louis Mendonca, Kirk Adams

Favourite Moment with Team Canada

Representing Canada and competing against top quality opposition on the pitch and the camaraderie and friendship we share off it.

Proudest Moment

Winning the 2009 Pan-Am Cup in Santiago, Chile to qualify for the 2010 World Cup in New Delhi, India. Amazing 4-3 overtime win against arch-rivals Argentina in the semi-final and then a 2-1 overtime win against the United States in the final to qualify.

My Life

Off the hockey pitch I enjoy golfing, fishing, sipping coffee, interneting, and beating up on my teammates in fantasy sports. I have three younger sisters (Vickie, Rachelle and Vanessa). I am an avid sports fanatic and supporter of the Vancouver Canucks, Whitecaps, and Leeds United in England.

University: University of British Columbia

Languages: English, German
