Sarah started out in field hockey because she did not enjoy the other fall sports offered at her school. Her goal is to help Canada qualify for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Sarah was named an AUS All-Star in 2005, 2006, and 2007, and named to the CIS All-Star team in 2007. In 2005 she was named AUS Rookie of the Year. |

Sarah attended Charlottetown Rural high school in PEI as well as the University of Prince Edward Island. Her career aspiration is to complete her degree in Food & Nutrition and become a dietitian. Sarah's grandparents - Helen MacAualy and Kenneth and Mary Ellen Chaisson - have most inspired her because despite everything in their lives they continue to live life to the fullest. Her parents - Cynthia and Mitchell - are the people she most admires because they have done everything and anything to allow her brothers and her to reach their dreams.
