Lelia started playing field hockey at age 5. Her father, John Sacré, won 3 Pan American Gold medals for Canada. Her mother played field hockey for San Diego State University. In 2005 Lelia represented Canada at the U21 World Cup in Chile. |

Lelia attended Seaquam Secondary School in North Delta. She enjoys travelling and her favourite food is Sushi. The Dutch field hockey player Teun De Noojier is her favourite athlete. When not playing field hockey she enjoys basketball. |
