Angela picked up a field hockey stick for the first time in high school and has never looked back. After realizing her love for the game, she continued to improve her skills by playing for numerous club teams in the Toronto and Halton areas. Searching for every opportunity to play, she has competed for Ontario at U19, Senior and Indoor Nationals. |
| Human Interest |
Angela grew up in Burlington, Ontario where she graduated from MM Robinson High School. Besides field hockey, she has a love for Soccer. She played for her city’s all star soccer team for 6 years and coached U5s for 2 years. She is very passionate about fitness and sports and will get involved in any way possible. She is currently one of the coordinators for the “Believe to Achieve” program at Guelph University that works to connect its varsity athletes with the rest of the community, particularly children in elementary schools. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends, sea doing and playing intramural sports. She is most inspired by Steve Nash and Saku Koivu.
