Go Team Canada!

The Canadian Women’s Field Hockey Program is comprised of 24 women representing all of
Canada. The women, who range in age from 18 to 34 years, are centralized for fulltime
training in Vancouver, BC.  Athletes train upwards of 20 hours a week, conditioning themselves physically, tactically and mentally to achieve their best performances. Many of the
women balance education, employment, careers, family and social lives for the love of the
game and the opportunity to represent their country. The women are friendly and positive
role models capable of achieving great things both in sport and in life.

Canada is gearing up for a busy 2008 campaign on the Road to Beijing. In preparation for the Olympic Qualifier Tournament in Victoria, BC (April, 2008) the team will be played in tournaments in India and South Africa.

This past year the Adopt The Canadian Women Team Campaign raised funds to aid the team on route to the Women's Olympic Qualifier.
