Sports Information	Peter and his teamates were Pan American Games gold medalists in 2007 (silver in 2003). He has been a member of the senior national team since 2001, coached by Louis Mendonca since 2006. His current club is Laren Hockey Club in The Netherlands and he previously played for HGC and Rotterdam Hockey Club in The Netherlands, and Surbiton Hockey Club in England. He trains in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and in Vancouver, British Columbia. Peter is most inspired by his team-mates who push each other on and off the field and he admires National Basketball Association (NBA) player, Canadian Steve Nash, for everything he's achieved through hard work.
Human Interest	Peter grew up in South Delta and attended South Delta Senior Secondary School in British Columbia. He recently graduated with a masters degree from the University College London, International Urban Planning. He also graduated from the University of Victoria and BCIT in related programs. In 2008 Peter was employed by CB Richard Ellis in Amsterdam where he worked in Global Corporate Services. His career aspirations are to become a senior planner specializing in sustainable mixed-use communities. Peter is engaged to be married. His parents Anne and Ian are both retired and living in South Delta. He has two brothers, Rob and Mark. Rob currently captains the National Team. In his spare time Peter enjoys fly-fishing and golf and he enjoys listening to European house music.
