2007 Pan American Games champion, 2003 silver medalist…competed at 2 Commonwealth Games finishing 6th in 2002, and 9th in 2006…2 top-10 finishes at the Indoor World Cup (6th in 2003, 7th in 2007)…member of the senior national team since 2002…coached by Louis Mendonca since 2006 (previously coached by Gene Muller)...currently playing for the Toronto Field Hockey Club (1989-present) and Atletico San Sebastian (previous clubs include Old Loughtonians, MOP, Western Province Cricket Club, Berliner)...trains in Vancouver, British Columbia...suffered a torn hamstring in 2003 and 2004, and a broken jaw in 2008 (missing 2 months of training)...most inspired by the support of his family - without them he would have never been introduced to the sport or had the capability of playing at the elite level...named the 2004 Ontario Player of the Year... |
