The Marriott Hotel is located one mile from Pearson Intl. Airport and is accessible by our complimentary hotel shuttle. Once landed, your guests will spend minimal time travelling to the hotel and more time preparing to attend your event. For those members driving in we have over 500 parking spaces in our underground garage. Located in the cradle of the 400 series highways, most attractions in the greater Toronto area are just minutes away. Just 15 minutes from the Hershey Centre.

Arrangements have been made allowing you to block book rooms on line a deposit will be required. Please visit the web site dedicated to the Under 16 National Championships.  A number of rooms, on a first come first serve basis have been blocked for parents wanting to attend the tournament.  The rooms are available at the same room rate, breakfast included.

Player Eligibility

• Must be a paid member in good standing with Field Hockey Canada
• Must have a birth date of 1993 or after

Information for Umpires

Meals and transportation to Ontario will be the responsibility of the individual.  Umpires should make arrangement to arrive in Mississauga by mid afternoon July 29, 2009.  There is an airport shuttle that can be taken from the airport to the Hotel.  Accommodation and Travel will be covered by the Organizing Committee.  Reservations have already been made for all officials, you only need to proceed to the front desk upon arrival at the Hotel.  A van has been booked and will be available for your use for the duration of the tournament.

A technical briefing will also be held at the tournament hotel at 7:00 PM the evening of 29 July in the hotel.  Please see the Bulletins above for more information.
