Nikki began playing field hockey in grade 9 when her friend recommended she try the sport out because she had the perfect skillset for it.

Field hockey runs deep in the Woodcroft family as Amanda, Nikki’s older sister, is a member of the Women’s Senior Development Squad.

Woodcroft was part of the Canadian squad that captured 4th place at the 2016 Jr. Pan American Championships in Trinidad and Tobago. Her proudest field hockey moment was wearing the maple leaf for the first time.

Currently, Nikki plays for the University of Toronto where she is studying kinesiology.
