Liam began his Junior Development Squad career in 2012, and made his debut at the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China.

Manning was born and raised in Ottawa, and currently resides in Waterloo, where he is attending University. He began playing field hockey in fifth grade when his friends convinced him to join, and played his club hockey for the Nepean Nighthawks. Liam also spent many years playing ice hockey competitively.

Liam’s greatest field hockey memory is winning a silver medal at the 2014 Youth Olympics, and will never forget walking into the opening ceremonies with his teammates.
