Jaslan Stirling began playing field hockey when she was 13 years old and is now currently a member of the Women’s Jr. Development Squad.
Stirling was born and raised in Mississauga, ON and currently plays her club hockey for A&C Field Hockey Academy.
She made her first Jr. appearance in January 2016 against Chile, in Chile. She went on to be a member of the team that represented Canada at the 2016 Jr. Pan American Championships in Trinidad and Tobago, where Canada finished 4th. She claims this is her proudest field hockey moment.
Like many Canadian field hockey players, Jaslan also excelled as an ice hockey player as she grew up. She is now focusing solely on field hockey and hoping to land a spot on a university team when she graduates high school.
