Men's Junior National Team Coach
Announcement
Field Hockey Canada is pleased to announce the re-appointment of Mr.
John Sacre as the Men's Junior National Team Coach. John has accepted
a contract with Field Hockey Canada until post-Junior World Cup Qualifier.
John is currently completing his Level 4 coaching certification and is a
Level 3 Course Conductor.
John's goals over the next few years are to develop a base of players for
integration into the Senior program by supporting and working together with
the provincial development programs.
John has a strong conviction that we must develop the whole athlete, not
just their hockey skills, i.e.: time management, self-control, respect for
others, work ethic, etc... John's performance goal is to qualify the junior
team for the next Junior World Cup.
Field Hockey Canada recognizes the many challenges facing coaches today
and thanks John for his continued support of and dedication to Canadian
hockey.
