- "I started playing in 1989 in high school as a field player. Because of my bad knees, I changed to goalkeeper and that same summerI went on to win a Gold Medal at the Canada Games with Team New Brunswick!"
- Played for York University from 1991 to 1997, winning the Gail Wilson Award for Player of the Year in 1997.
