Field Hockey Background:
  • "I started playing field hockey in grade 9, discovered some desire in my last year of high school and played on my first Provincial Team the summer I graduated. The British Columbia Teams I have played on have always done well and I learned a lot from my involvement in the Provincial Program. I just finished five years of playing for UBC which were capped off with 2 National titles"
  • First selected with the Senior National Team for the 2000 Test Series vs. USA (First Cap: July 10 - Win 2-0).
  • Selected for the 2000 European Tour (Germany and Holland) and the 2002 European Tour (Scotland and Wales).
Domestic Competitions:
  • 1997 Canada Games with British Columbia (1st)
  • 1998 CIAU Championship (1st)
  • 1999 CIAU Championship (1st)
Points of Interest:
  • Interests (outside field hockey): writing, reading, my cat Salem.

  • "Thrill of a lifetime" (given a chance to do anything in the world): moving out of the big city and back to Hicksville.
