  • started playing field hockey in Grade 5;
  • made the British Columbia Provincial Team in 1975;
  • played for the National Team from 1977 to 1985 (58 caps) including:
    • 1983 World Cup, Kuala Lumpur (Silver Medal)
    • 1984 Olympic Games, Los Angeles (5th)

Coaching Background:
  • National Coaching Certification Program, Level IV
  • Master Coach at the National Coaching Institute
  • 2000 Field Hockey Canada 3M Elite Coach of the year
  • since 1984, coach of the University of Victoria Vikes Field Hockey Team:
    • ten CIS National Championships (plus four silver medals and two bronze)
    • eight Canada West titles since 1984
  • recognized in 2002 by British Columbia for Women's History Month
