- Began playing field hockey at age 6 in the Cowichan Junior Program;
- Won a Bronze and a Gold Medal at the Provincial Championships in High School AAA;
- Played on British Columbia "B" Team that placed 2nd at the 1998 U-21 West National Competition (in front of the "A" Team!);
- Selected in the Junior Women's National Team for the 1999 National Camp
and series against USA Junior
