| Field Hockey Background: |
- "I started playing hockey in Victoria when I was 13, but didn't really think too seriously about it until I was 18 and spent some time playing with the Moorbank-Liverpool Hockey Club in Sydney, Australia. It was after this that I thought that maybe I should make a go of it; they were a very inspirational bunch and initiated me in the merits of mixing fun drinking beer with fun playing hockey!"
