  • "I started playing when I was 7 years old as a replacement for baseball and never looked back. I played for a few years on the BC U-21 team and went to 3 or 4 National Team camps in the nineties back when they had the walk-on program. I was selected for the first time in the National Team in 2001 for the World Cup Qualifier. I scored my first goal in my first cap against Belgium with a few minutes of playing time left (final score: 1-1). I've been training with the team ever since"
