| The Medals of the Canada Games were designed by Brad Selves, an artist from London, Ontario, who won a design contest over 43 other entries. The front of the medal depicts a tree with 13 maple leaves, symbolizing each of the provinces and territories, and a background that represents the rolling hills of the London region. The reverse side of the medal features the Host Society and Canada Games logos and a background showing the waters of Lake Erie and Lake Huron, which surrounds the host region. |
