 1977 Canada Games Reunion
1977 Games

Did you know ?

The field hockey competition of the 2001 Canada Games is played at the new TD Waterhouse Stadium at University of Western Ontario. This facility is also used for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and for track and field competitions during the second week of the Games. The seating capacity has been increased to 12,000 for the Canada Games.

British Columbia has won the Canada Games field hockey competition 6 out of 8 possible times. Only Ontario (1977, in St. John's, NF) and New Brunswick (in Saskatoon, SK) managed to break their hegemony.
